Paper jams in the duplexer usually occur when paper gets stuck during double-sided printing or when the duplex path is blocked. The good news? These jams are easy to fix with just a few quick steps.
Note: Turn off the printer and disconnect the power cord if accessing internal components.
Step 1: Remove 2
Remove Tray 2 completely from the printer to access the duplex area.

Step 2: Release the duplex pan
Press the green button to release the duplex pan.

Step 3: Remove the jammed paper
Carefully take out any jammed paper you find. Pull it slowly and evenly to prevent tearing.

Step 4: Close the duplex pan
Push the duplex pan back up until it locks securely into place.

Step 5: Reinstall Tray 2
Slide Tray 2 back into the printer and ensure it's seated properly.

After you're done, Plug the printer back in, turn it on, and try printing again. If the jam happens again, check for curled paper, overfilled trays, or worn rollers.
📌 Important Notes to Remember:
Remove Paper Gently: Use both hands to pull out jammed paper slowly and evenly. Avoid tearing it—small scraps can cause future jams.
Use Good Paper: Avoid curled, damp, or previously printed sheets. Use clean, flat paper from a sealed package.
Check for Hidden Scraps: After removing a jam, inspect the area for tiny pieces of paper that may be stuck inside.
Align Paper Properly: Make sure tray guides match the paper size and the stack stays below the fill line.
